A little more fall foliage, please.

A little more fall foliage, please.

Well, fall is coming to an abrupt end, as we jumped from over-warm to a hard freeze warning or two.  Over the first 10 days of November, I grabbed a few more shots, on my lunch breaks, and on a Saturday, to catch just a little more color.  Yes, I’m a color-addict.  That’s part of why I like photography: it is an alibi to pursue my addiction, and a method to preserving it.  This shoot is here

As we get more winter like, I’ll get more into lights (Christmas lights, neon lights), and inside (tabletop, macro, etc) photography.

I finally got off zero and rolled out a video of the drive from Asheville to Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  You can watch it here.

I’ll be posting “the story” this weekend, about my hard drive loss, and how you can prevent this from happening to you.  I did my first draft on a lunch break, but got too much footage ‘up my nose’, so I’ll re-shoot in my office and put that one out.  I’ll get the hang of this You-Tube stuff in time.

I also restarted my Amazon affiliate account, so I’ll be putting up monetized/affiliate links.  Note: I will NOT promote anything I don’t use myself.

I have 9 days off around Thanksgiving, so expect a burst of Christmas-lights/parade/event photography.
